Territory

Sardinia: a territory by multicoloured naturalistic landscapes…
The North Sardinia is characterised by the many natural landscapes.
The environment is characterized by golden beaches with a delicate vegetation and  a rich fauna. Costa Smeralda is a little paradise on earth.

Costa Smeralda

A written on a rock announces entry into Costa Smeralda: Kingdom of junipers, cysts, lentiscus, rocks immersed in the maquis, beautiful beaches and a spotless sea.

The deep respect for the environment and history of this land did grow and develop the Costa Smeralda in a unique way. The buildings made of stone , built in complete harmony with nature surrounding reflect the old structures of “stazzi”. The Costa Smeralda has become as a point of reference for international tourism, a real status symbol for the international jet set.
The Old Port was built in the’60s.

The promontory of Capriccioli form the evocative cove of Cala di Volpe, with many beaches and the famous hotel the same name. Through brief deviations from the road to Olbia it is nice to visit the beaches of Liscia Ruja, Petra Ruja, Razza di Juncu and S’Arena.

A short distance from Capriccioli is Romazzino, region that owes its name to the wild rosemary, said romasinu  in dialect. Here you open the spectacular beach of Poltu Li Cogghji. It is also, at Liscia di Vacca, the Village Bagaglino completely surrounded by water.

Porto Cervo

Porto Cervo can be considered the capital of Costa Smeralda, and it is so  named for the presence of numerous ramifications in its inlet.

In the heart of the country there is the Piazzetta Chiacchiere, a summer meeting place of many famous personalities. The church of Stella Maris, built by Busiri Vici dominates the entrance to the Marina.

Porto Cervo, thanks to the important Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and fields of Pevero Golf, one of the most important in Italy, is also a point of reference for the yachting world and professionals golfers.

The island of La Maddalena

The island of La Maddalena is the ‘most beautiful corner of the Mediterranean. It is located within walking distance from the jagged north-eastern coast of Sardinia, in that stretch of sea often shaken and beaten by mistral that divides Sardinia from Corsica.

La Maddalena, Caprera, Spargi, Santo Stefano, Santa Maria, Budelli, Razzoli  are the seven main islands of the archipelago of La Maddalena.
Many are the islets which persist on the sea near the islands.
La Maddalena has to offer vast stretches of coastline still virtually intact: beaches and coves alternate with granite boulders bizarre forms.

A  bridge divides La Maddalena from Caprera, that was Garibaldi refuge in the last years of his life.
Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria are gathered around an always calm sea called Porto della Madonna.
These islands,  together with nearby Spargi, represent the most wild, interesting and beautiful in the archipelago with plants of  rosemary, lentisk, cistus, myrtle, olive and other aromatic species.

In deeper waters swim and dolphins and the presence of these animals is due to the respect the nature of the local fishermen, heirs of great fishermen come from the mainland, especially from Ponza and Pozzuoli.
